Scan a document or photo using Windows Fax and Scan

Windows Fax and Scan is a tool to scan documents or photos. Attach a scanner to the computer, install it properly and turn it on. Follow the steps to scan the data (Start – All Programs –Windows Fax and Scan – Scan – New Scan – Profile – Documents / Photos – Preview – Scan). You can crop images, save them individually or store them accordingly under Scanner Documents. After scanning, you can organize them as you wish by renaming them, moving them to new or different folders or use the Scan Routing option to automatically forward them to a certain e-mail or network folder.
